The Med.Action Children with Elias Odv association is made up of professionals (doctors, nurses, and technicians) who, in a completely voluntary manner and with twenty years of experience, dedicate themselves to the treatment of heart diseases.

Med.Action Children with Elias Odv is involved in medical/educational missions for the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired heart diseases in pediatric patients in countries lacking adequate personnel and facilities.

These heart diseases are the cause of death for a significant number of children and young adults in resource-limited countries.

These missions include:
-Population screening (in schools, villages, and healthcare facilities);

-Echocardiographic diagnosis of heart disease; corrective surgical treatment;

-Training of local staff (both medical and nursing, with the ultimate goal of making them self- sufficient);

-Support for families of children with heart diseases.
